Terms of Service

1. What KIRU Is

KIRU is an AI-powered training system. It generates personalized workout programs, adapts them over time, and provides coaching through an AI interface. It is not a personal trainer, a physiotherapist, or a medical service. KIRU is registered in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

2. Subscription

• Price: $9.99/month USD. Founding member rate — this price is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active.
• Trial: 7-day free trial. Card required to start. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• Billing: Billed monthly on the same date you subscribed. Payments processed by Stripe.
• Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the future. Founding members are exempt from price increases while their subscription is active.

3. Cancellation

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. No refunds for partial months. If you cancel and re-subscribe, founding member pricing may no longer apply.

4. Not Medical Advice

KIRU is not a medical service. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. KIRU, its generated programs, and all content are for informational and fitness purposes only. Always consult a qualified physician before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an existing injury or health condition. If you experience acute pain, numbness, or injury during training, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

5. AI-Generated Content

Programs, recommendations, and coach responses are generated by AI. They are based on the information you provide and are not reviewed by a human trainer before delivery. AI outputs can be incorrect or incomplete. Use your judgment and stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort.

6. Your Content

You own the data you enter into KIRU — your intake responses, session notes, and benchmark logs. By using the platform, you grant KIRU a limited license to use this data to generate and improve your program. We do not sell your data or use it to train external AI models.

7. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account. KIRU is intended for personal use only.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or third-party outages may cause temporary downtime. We will not issue refunds for outages shorter than 72 hours.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity. In such cases, outstanding subscription fees are non-refundable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, KIRU is not responsible for injuries, health issues, or losses resulting from use of the app. You agree that your use of KIRU is at your own risk.

11. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use KIRU.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
